Havening

Havening offers a gentle yet highly effective approach to healing trauma and its mind-body consequences, alleviating stress, promoting well-being and fostering resilience.

Havening uses the sensory input of touch, attention, and imagination to create lasting change. One of the distinct advantages of Havening is that it does not require re-living any trauma in order to achieve positive and lasting outcomes.

Havening sessions are helpful for:

  • Any Trauma and its mind-body consequences. For example an accident, bullying, assault, abuse, receiving news, or witnessing an event

  • Post-traumatic stress, Complex post-traumatic stress.

  • Depression

  • Distressing memories

  • Childhood trauma

  • Relational trauma

  • Domestic abuse

  • Emotional distress

  • Anger, grief, shame, panic

  • General or work-related stress

  • Feeling stuck

  • Phobias

The Havening touch can either be applied by myself in a face-to-face setting or self-applied with guidance during a session.

Sessions typically span from 60 to 90 minutes and are available in person in Bromley, BR1 and online.
