Havening Sessions

Havening offers a gentle yet highly effective approach to healing trauma and removing its consequences, clearing stress, promoting well-being and fostering resilience.

Havening uses the sensory input of the touch, attention, and imagination to create lasting change. One of the distinct advantages of Havening is that it does not require re-living any trauma in order to achieve positive and lasting outcomes.

Havening sessions are ideal for:

  • Childhood trauma

  • Relational trauma

  • Developmental trauma

  • Domestic abuse

  • Assault

  • An accident or incident

  • Depression

  • Post-traumatic stress or complex post-traumatic stress

  • Witnessing something

  • Bullying

  • Abandonment

  • A traumatic memory or memories

  • Emotional distress. Releasing emotions which are unhelpfully present or supressed such as anger, grief, shame, sadness

  • Receiving news of some kind, something that has been said to you or hearing something

  • Anxiety

  • A stressful situation or work-related stress

  • Mental Health Issues

  • Pain

  • Phobias

  • Promoting well-being and fostering resilience.

The Havening touch can either be applied by myself in a face-to-face setting or self-applied with guidance during a session. Online sessions will require you to self-apply the Havening touch, with guidance.
